Choosing Signal Teal
[October 2nd, 2026] [11:03 PM MT]
The website needed to catch up with the role I wanted it to have. It had grown around the first transmission and the Bank encounter. For the rebuild, I wanted a place that could hold the collective, the music, the cinematic work and the games without forcing them all into the old CRT layout.
Signal Teal became the new direction. Light mode is the default, with warm ivory, dark ink and teal doing most of the work. Amber adds warmth where the imagery needs it. Visitors can still choose dark mode and keep that preference.
Keeping the parts that belong to the experience
I kept the theater player and the original looping video. They were part of the request from the beginning, and they still connect the webpage to the transmission. The rebuild changed their surroundings: new theater artwork, a clearer player area and more space for the content around them.
The new park and theater images were generated for this site and exported as WebP files. The artwork gives the landing page a setting before the visitor reaches the player. I wanted the page graphics to carry their share of the world-building, while leaving the title and controls readable.
Giving each part a place
The collective gained its own page. Games gained an index, and the Bank moved to /games/bank. The old /bank address redirects to the new location so earlier links still have somewhere useful to go.
I also updated the shared header, navigation and sticky footer. The footer now identifies me as Jeremy Robards, CTO and CAIO of Mycelia Interactive LLC, carries the 2026 copyright and states that The S33k3r Transmission is a product and protected intellectual property of Mycelia Interactive LLC.
I kept this rebuild focused on thes33k3r.com. The contest multiplayer page wasn't part of this release. The site needed a clearer structure and a consistent visual direction before that next piece of the project was added.
